Our Preschool Program

Language Immersion Preschool

CommuniKids Preschool offers full-immersion, play-based preschool programs for children ages 2 ½ to 5 in two locations: Washington, DC / Tenleytown and Falls Church, VA.  

The two guiding philosophies of our preschool program are total-immersion language learning and a play-based approach to early childhood education.  Our goal is to provide the highest quality learning experience in a nurturing and fun environment.  All of our teachers are native speakers with years of experience teaching young children.  Our teaching methods and curriculum are based on reputable research from leading educational and linguistic associations, and on our many years of experience. 

Full-day Preschool at our DC location

CommuniKids Preschool DC offers a full-day Spanish-immersion preschool at our Tenleytown campus at 4719 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20016.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 202-363-0133 or email us.

Schedule:

• Our school day is total immersion in Spanish.
• Our school day runs from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
• We offer beforecare from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
• We offer aftercare from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• We operate on a 10-month school year schedule.

Additional services:

• We offer a six week summer camp program.
• We offer language enrichment classes after school and on Saturdays.
• Our educational consultants are on-site for both school and parent support (www.mec-group.org).
• Preschool students participate in gymnastics classes in Spanish once a week.
• Our students bring their lunches from home.

Half-day Preschool at our Falls Church location

CommuniKids Preschool Falls Church offers a half-day preschool program in either Spanish or French at our Falls Church campus located at 510 N. Washington Street, Suite 400, Falls Church, VA 22046. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 703-534-2221 or email us.

• Our school day is total immersion in Spanish or French.
• Our school day runs from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• We operate on a 10-month school year schedule.
